Exhibition Stand Packages

The Wales Cancer Conference 2010 Exhibition will be held in the Lower Hall (Cardiff City Hall).  Exhibition space will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.

Exhibition space for not-for-profit organisations is limited and only organisations recognized as a Government entity, Learned Society or registered charitable organisations will be allowed to become not-for-profit exhibitors.

The exhibition stands are space-only and come equipped with:

  • Stand carpeting as part of the carpeting of the exhibition hall
  • Access to one 500-watt power socket
  • One Furniture Package (one 6-foot trestle table and two chairs)

The exhibition package includes also:

  • Complimentary registration for up to two company executives including refreshments and lunch and full session attendance (registrations are not transferable)

Commercial Workshop Opportunities

Companies are offered the opportunity to organise their own workshop event with in the programme of the Wales Cancer Conference 2010 by booking one of the scheduled Commercial Workshops. Workshops can be clinical-based focusing on pharmaceuticals, drug development and clinical trials or laboratory-based, focusing on analytical and molecular methodology and biomarkers and your company can set the agenda of its Commercial Workshop

The commercial workshop can consist of short talks and/or demonstrations on new technology, equipment or products. Product names may be described and the sessions would educate the delegates in the use of the product. Your company will have control of the programme by inviting your own speakers and sending personal invitations to target delegates, although this will have to be approved by the Conference Programme Committee. This opportunity will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Poster prizes will be awarded to the top three clinical posters and the top three science posters. The posters will be judged by a scientific or clinical Poster Judging Panel respectively.

Exhibitors’ / Sponsors’ Guidelines

Eligible Exhibits: Only the sign of the company whose name appears on the signed booking form may be placed in the stand or appear on any printed list of exhibitors. The sharing of exhibition space by two or more companies/not-for-profit organisations is not permitted.

Any Exhibitor / Sponsor planning any function, which is intended to involve meeting delegates during the period of Wales Cancer Conference 2010, must notify the Conference Secretariat (e: walescancerconference@biomedex.co.uk, t:44(0)1360 551 082) of its style, timing and size. Any such event is subject to prior agreement of the Wales Cancer Conference Programme Committee, the Wales Cancer Institute and the Wales Cancer Alliance.

Exhibitors are advised that the Wales Cancer Conference 2010 will be attended by cancer patients and members of patient support groups or patient advocacy organisations.
